 As some of his major influences, Kevin cites John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, & Egberto Gismonti. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in classical guitar performance, as well as a degree in religious studies, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He attended a summer session at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Kevin has been playing the guitar for more than twenty years and has taught a wide variety of guitar styles for the past fifteen years. He currently teaches at the Guitar Workshop in Charlotte. |
 Dustin has been influenced by a variety of diverse musicians such as Miles Davis, Bill Frisell, The Meters, Stevie Wonder, Rabih Abou-Khalil, and Pink Floyd. He studied music at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and attended a summer session at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Dustin has performed coast to coast and has played or engineered hundreds of recording sessions. He recorded 4 songs for the soundtrack to the film Walking the West, which won “Best Documentary” at the 2002 California Independent Film Festival. He currently teaches both guitar and bass at the Guitar Workshop in Charlotte and runs a small recording studio out of his home. |
 Adam gives credit to a long list of influences including Jack Dejohnette, Zigaboo Modeliste, and John Bonham. With a background in orchestral percussion, jazz and world music, he brings a diverse mix of flavors to the table with Green Light. Snow has had the opportunity to study and perform with West African, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian master drummers. He has also studied the frame drum traditions of North Africa and Mbira Dzavadzimu ,a Zimbabwean thumb piano, with Dr. B. Michael Williams. Adam received his Masters degree in music from Winthrop University in 2003. He now teaches at Davidson College and Winthrop University. |
